I finally just saw this film...exceptionally beautiful Rupert was in it...and oh so charming and sweet...still don't think Prince Albert tops Mr Darcy but oh yes...I have a most definitely boosted the handsomeness in my mind for men in period clothes... *sigh* Rupert truly was amazing in this role...and I remember I used to think he was a bit well wooden* and you could tell that he's acting but now to my surprise I caught myself not thinking about it once while watching this film...he has grown massively acting-wise and it just makes me more eager to see his performance in "Cheri". Ok more about the film...I'm not that interested in politics...my brain unconsciously switches off when there's any mentioning of politics so I would have to watch this film again to completely get whot exactly was going on that I don't think will be a problem at all*  very beautiful costumes and settings...and I know Miranda Richardson was pregnant at the premiere but were she pregnant while filming as well? and did the film makers think we would not notice it? honestly...it puzzles me* anyway...I truly enjoyed this film...Emily was great and brought great spirit in Mrs Brown...she even changed her voice to sound more childish when she was playing Victoria at 17...well done...all together beautiful piece of work* interesting camera work as well...visually very enjoyable* I will be capping it as well so stay tuned* oh and one thing...in the film since Prince Albert is German Rupert spoke German a bit...I wonder if he can speak properly or if it was just for the film...I suppose it's just for the part...he didn't say an awful lot as well...though he did have a pretty good German accent*  |
