I think Keira deserves a thread in here well because at least I think she's really great and talented and non-bimbo (which i think is a huge achievement in Hollywood*) and simply because Rupert loves her and she loves him...*  so there*  I'll start with a very powerful advertisement for domestic violence Keira did...I'm very pleased she's doing loads of charity project these days* |

Keira Knightley's Odd Reason For Wanting To Be Pregnant  Keira Knightly isn't pregnant - yet. But the 23-year-old would like to become pregnant but not for the usual reasons women want to have a baby. Knightley is often criticised for her thin frame and thinks if she were preggo, people would stop judging her weight. "That's a good reason to have a kid. They won't say I'm anorexic any more. Sh*t, I've got to have a child." Keira is often put off by remarks and questions asked about her weight and feel they are "not appropriate." She added, "I can't win. One week I'm anorexic and now my curves are too big. I mean really? It's a joke. What's next? Am I too tall, too short? Well, I'm sorry I'm me. "It's so predictable to be asked about it, but to me it's not appropriate." Keira's boyfriend, actor Rupert Friend said he's in no hurry to have kids and isn't planning to tie the knot either (at least not right away). I'll assume she was kidding about getting pregnant for that reason - let's hope anyway! And she's right - Hollywood is tough - either you're too thin or you're too fat. Doesn't seem to be a happy medium.

Filming news*
Keira is due to begin filming Never Let Me Go next week, in London and Norfolk, the first return to a film set since Last Night wrapped in early December (except for Cut, which was filmed in January). Keira will play Ruth, with Carey Mulligan as Kathy.

Colin Farrell And Keira Knightley Join ‘London Boulevard’ CastColin Farrell didn’t score an Oscar nomination this year for “In Bruges” — but he did score a movie deal with an Oscar nominee. Variety reports that Farrell and Keira Knightley will be starring in the independent crime drama “London Boulevard.” The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter William Monahan (”The Departed”), [...] wow...never thought to see those two together...don't think I terribly mind*

Never Let Me Go news
Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins (Happy-Go-Lucky) has joined Fox Searchlight’s adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s best-selling novel Never Let Me Go. She will play a teacher at the seemingly idyllic English boarding school attended by Ruth (Keira Knightley), Kathy, (Carey Mulligan), and Tommy (Andrew Garfield). The film, directed by Mark Romanek (One Hour Photo) from a screenplay by Alex Garland (28 Days Later) begins filming in the U.K. today.
ok...on how many films is Keira working on right now?

Only one right now. London Boulevard is next, in the summer and The Beautiful and the Damned should start at the end of the year.

...impressive...so they're taking turns...it was Rupert working then she made The Last Night where Rupert came with her to NY...then all the Rupert's promotional stuff for Cheri and The Young Victoria and now she's working again...am I right? Tight schedule...* they almost have to make an appointment to see each other* |

Examiner's Top ten television/movie moments in fashion (Keira came first...can't say I'm surprised...that dress blew me away*  ) 1. Atonement - Keira Knightley and the breathtaking emerald green dress. 2. Sex and the City - The girls in their brightly colored bridesmaid dresses at Carrie and Big’s wedding. 3. The Seven Year Itch - Marilyn Monroe in the infamous white dress. 4. Breakfast at Tiffany’s - Audrey Hepburn in her black dress, gloves, tiara and pearls. If anyone else wore all of that together, it would be overkill but Audrey pulled it off and became an icon. 5. Quantum of Solace - Olga Kurylenko in a little black dress. This may seem like an odd pick, but I couldn’t get over how great the dress looked on her. Made by Prada, the dress was cut perfectly and looked fabulous, even when it was covered with dust. 6. Mr. and Mrs. Smith - Angelina Jolie - Maybe it was the gun she wore under the black v-neck dress, but either way she looked hot. 7.
