‘Chéri’ will come on DVD in Europe this Fall
Chéri has already date of launch on DVD in Europe, at least it has been announced in Amazon to be for sale on September 21 in UK and the following month in France, the 14th of October. I guess that the date in USA will be coming… perhaps it could be in November, a good date to maintain the movie in the minds of Academy Awards jury facing the nominations…
The French release will use the former European poster for the DVD cover, while the English cover will be an adaptation …

Cheri’ dvd edition in October in Region 1
According the site DVD Times, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Chéri on 20th October 2009 priced at $29.99 SRP. The DVD will include interesting features such asthe Making Of and Deleted Scenes, besides French and Spanish subtitles. It will be available in Anamorphic Widescreen.
The art work for the cover goes on the design of the official poster in USA

Finally I can watch this movie, but honestly don't like so much.
Rupert was fantastic, and so hot, but the history in general I found boring.
Although worth watching, just for Rupert and his fantastic eyes

caught Cheri on telly today and after watching it quite a few years ago...found it so much more better than before...and Rupert really is amazing in this role...wow...not that I had any doubts |
